Tracey Martin – Yoga Teacher

My passion lies in helping people to discover their own yoga practice, regardless of age, fitness, or physical limitations.  I have witnessed how yoga can transform emotional, physical and spiritual wellbeing. My aim is to make it accessible to all.  I work mainly 1:2:1 which has given me the ability to modify for individual needs and understand what can hold us back, both physically and mentally. Continued professional development is very important to me. 

Since The Yoga Shed has opened I have studied twice with New York teacher Tara Stiles -founder of Stråla Yoga –  qualifying as certified Stråla guide; and also twice with Leslie Kaminoff – founder of The Breathing Project. These teachers have had a huge influence on my style of teaching and how I relate to students.   I am continually fascinated by anatomy, recently studying hyper-mobility and joint functionality with Alexandria Crow – founder of Yoga Physics.  My teaching approach encourages you to feel good in yourself and what you are doing in your yoga practice.  I hold a space for you to be truly and uniquely, authentically you.
