Alexandra Flatman – Yoga Therapist
My journey began some years ago, pursuing yoga as a form of exercise, however I soon realised it was so much more than that and it became an integral part of my life.
Having worked for many years with young people who have social and emotional difficulties in schools I felt the need to develop a more holistic approach so I began to introduce the yoga practices I had learnt in my classes, and quickly saw the benefit. This lead me on the path to completing my 500 hour yoga therapy training specialising in mental health. I have since also trained in Yin yoga. I really enjoy teaching yin and meditation classes; it is a pleasure to enable people to find that place of deep relaxation.
Yoga is at the heart of my own wellbeing and I am passionate about sharing this.
